Experience & Expertise
Jennifer is an Eastern Kentucky University graduate with an MAED and MS in Mathematics. She has 23 years of high school teaching experience and has also taught college algebra for EKU at the Manchester Regional Campus since it opened in 1993. In addition to part time teaching duties, she serves as the District Math Coach for Clay County Schools. Jennifer has completed three years of Cognitive Coaching training with the Kentucky Center of Mathematics (2006-2009) and two years of training with PIMSER as an Appalachian Teacher Partner (2009-2011) through the AMSP Master Teacher Project. Her passion is using her own experiences and training to coach math teachers inside and outside of the classroom to improve teacher efficacy, content knowledge, and pedagogy.
