Tolene has 23 years experience as an elementary teacher and 12 years as an elementary principal. As a Regional Teacher Partner, she has worked with projects such as Developing Algebraic Thinking (DAT), Math Leadership Support Network(MLSN), and provided professional development targeting math and leadership throughout Kentucky. Tolene has facilitated "Getting Started with Classroom Assessment for Student Learning" and "Seven Strategies of Assessment for Learning" as an education consultant for Pearson Education. Tolene is married, with a daughter who currently teaches, and the proud grandmother of Madison and Greg.
