Women's Forum Event

The UK Women's Forum, invites you to register for the second annual conference, Tracks for Success, with keynote speaker, UK faculty member, Dr. Dorothy Edwards. Dr Edwards is the Director of the UK Violence Intervention and Prevention Center.  She will be speaking to us about the advantages of being a woman in the workplace.

On November 19th, the Women's Forum will host several 60-minute concurrent workshops including topics such as, developing assertiveness skills, working mothers, budgeting 101, time management, mid-life career changers and many more! Additionally, Deb Morris aka The FruGal from the Lexington Herald Leader will lead two sessions discussing saving tips and strategies. The conference will close with a panel session “Bloom Where You’re Planted” with UK women who successfully used their responsibilities and the opportunities at the university, to make the most of their career.

The Women's Forum has partnered with the President's Commission on Women and UK Human Resources to provide all programming at no cost to participants. However, seating is limited. Please register early by going to the Women's Forum website at www.uky.edu/OtherOrgs/UKWoman/.

See you on November 19th!
