3. Review PCW Bylaws and propose amendments as needed

1. Promote PCW and report our activities via print media
2. Develop strategies to acquaint campus and community with charge adn actitivites of PCW

Charge:

1. Examine the training and opportunities for advancement of women
2. Initiate professional development seminars and workshops for women
3. Provide oversight for the Circles of Power Leadership Training Program

Culture and Climate

Charge:

1. Examine and report on the attitudes and beliefs related to gender on campus
2. Identify ways to improve and initiate activities to enhance the climate
3. Monitor potentially disrespectful gender references made by university-affiliated groups, publications, or representatives

Equity Regarding Representation and Compensation

Charge:

1. Monitor the gender compositions of the University's faculty, staff, students, administration and governing bodies
2. Identify potential gender differences in compensation in the form of salaries, added compensations and benefits
3. Report on and make recommendations regarding recruitment and retention policies and practices affecting women faculty, staff and students

Health and Safety

Charge:

1. Report on the state of the health and safety of women
2. Initiate events directed at improving the health and safety of women
