UK residence halls will open
for trick-or-treating on Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. The 22nd annual
Boyd/Patterson Haunted House will open Thursday, Oct. 28.

Oct.
14, 1999 (Lexington, Ky.) Students at the
University of Kentucky will get into the Halloween spirit Oct. 27 and 28 with treats and
goblins. The UK residence halls will open for trick-or-treating Wednesday, Oct. 27 from
6 to 8 p.m. Participating rooms will be marked with special signs or have open doors, and
the public is invited to take part.
For people looking for a good scare, the 22nd annual Boyd/Patterson Haunted
House will be open Thursday Oct. 28 on the UK campus.
For the event, the basements of the two halls will be transformed into a haunted house,
with proceeds benefiting the United Way and God's Pantry.
The haunted houses are open to campus and the public from 8 p.m. to midnight. Admission
will be $3 or $2 with a canned food item.
