March
27, 2000 (Lexington, Ky.) The Martin School of Public Policy and Administration will hold an
open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, in Room 345 of the Patterson Office Tower
to offer prospective students a chance to learn more about a career in health
administration. The

This program began in 1997 and is the only such program in the United States. This degree

· Master
of Public Administration. This degree program prepares students for a career in
public or nonprofit magerial positions.
Graduates
of the Martin School hold leading jobs as city and state finance officers, city planners,
health-service executives, and other high-level positions in the public and non-profit
sector in Kentucky and across the nation.
Eugenia
Toma, director of the Martin School, says one of the schools strength lies in its
multidisciplinary approach.
The
fact that we cut across many disciplines means the Martin School is able to approach
policy issues with a wide breadth of perspectives, she said.
