15, 2001 (Lexington, Ky.) -- Two
days remain for Kentucky fans to show support! Lexington,
KY (November 15, 2001): Kentucky has maintained its
lead of more than 200 pints over Tennessee after the
third day of the 14th Annual Big Blue Crush blood drive.
The score
now stands at Kenturky with 1,356 pints and Tennessee
1,131 pints.
Today and
Friday are the final opportunities during the drive
to give blood throughout central and eastern Kentucky.
The latest
scores are posted on the Blood Center's Web site.
The Lexington
Donor Center at 330 Waller Ave. is open from 9 a.m.
to 8 p.m. daily throughout the drive. Donor centers
in Hazard, Somerset, Prestonsburg and Pikeville are
also open for donations.
The following
mobile blood drives are scheduled today (Nov. 15):
UK Medical Center from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. UK Fine Arts
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Montgomery County from 9 a.m.
to 7 p.m.
