first lady Patsy Todd will be among the "Taste
of Our World" servers from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday,
Oct. 31, in the Student Center Grand Ballroom. The
event begins at 11 a.m.

Oct.
30, 2001 (Lexington, Ky.) -- The
University of Kentucky's 13th annual Cultural Diversity
Festival will feature "A Taste of Our World" from
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the Student
Center Grand Ballroom.
The
event, a festival favorite for 12 years, celebrates
cultures from around the world through foods from
six continents.
UK "celebrities" (administrators, coaches and professors)
will serve the food, with UK first lady Patsy Todd
among the servers from 1 to 1:30 p.m.
The
local rock band, The Bats, and the UK student steel
drum ensemble, Blue Steel, will entertain diners.
The
event is sponsored by the UK Cultural Diversity Festival
Committee, with food by UK Campus Cuisine.
