Oct.
24, 2001 (Lexington, Ky.) -- In
the wake of the events of Sept. 11, Danny Coulson,
founder and former director of the FBI’s Anti-Terrorist
Task Force, was shocked, but not surprised.
A counter-terrorism
professional with a career that spans three decades,
Coulson has brought hundreds of murderous extremists
to justice, including Oklahoma City bomber Timothy
McVeigh.
Coulson
will use his professional experience to shed new light
on the events of Sept. 11 and give valuable insight
into the newly proclaimed War on Terrorism to the
University of Kentucky community at 7 p.m. Tuesday,
Nov. 13, in the UK Student Center Grand Ballroom.
Coulson's
remarks, "The War on Terrorism: Past, Present and
Future" are presented by the UK Student Activities
Board. The event is free of charge and is open to
the public.
