Sept.
13, 2001 (Lexington, Ky.) -- The
University of Kentucky will observe the National Day
of Prayer and Remembrance for the Victims of the Terrorist
Attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, proclaimed by the President
of the United States of America, at noon on Friday,
Sept. 14, in the Amphitheater of Memorial Hall (the
outdoor amphitheater is located behind Memorial Hall).
There will
be a Presentation of the Colors and groups from the
School of Music will perform. UK President Lee T.
Todd Jr. will speak.
A moment
of silence will be observed to remember the victims
and the families of the terrorist attacks.
All UK
students, faculty and staff are invited.
