the event, children can make a simulated 911 call.
Dispatchers, police officers, paramedics, firefighters
and other personnel will be available to talk to children
about emergencies.

Does your child know what to do in an emergency? Does
he or she know what a "real" emergency is?
The Fayette County SAFE KIDS Coalition, led by University
of Kentucky Children's Hospital, will host its second
annual National 911 Day from 3 to 6 p.m., Sept. 11,
at Wal-Mart on New Circle Road.
During
the event, children can make a simulated 911 call.
Dispatchers,
police officers, paramedics, firefighters and other
personnel will be available to talk to children about
emergencies.
The event
is free of charge to the public, and there will be
giveaways.
