UK OB/GYN Department to Hold Maternity Fair

Health professionals from the UK OB/GYN Department and other local organizations will be available to answer questions of expectant parents, new parents and couples attempting pregnancy.

Aug. 21, 2002 (Lexington, Ky.) -- Need tips about pregnancy, birth and parenting? Want to see the latest products for expectant mothers and babies?
Come to the third annual "Baby Basics Maternity Fair" sponsored by the University of Kentucky Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, its Bluegrass Women's Health and Bluegrass High Risk Obstetrics clinics, and the Baby's Room.

The fair - which is free and open to the public - will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Sheraton Suites on Richmond Road in Lexington.

Health professionals from the UK OB/GYN Department and other local organizations will be available to answer questions of expectant parents, new parents and couples attempting pregnancy.

Local merchants and non-profit organizations will showcase their wares and provide new and expectant parents with valuable tips and advice. The event also includes prizes, entertainment and informal seminars by parenting experts.
