Aug.
22, 2002 (Lexington, Ky.) -- Help
make miracles happen at University
of Kentucky Children's Hospital. RE/MAX Creative
Realty is sponsoring "The Art of Making Miracles,"
a fund-raising event to benefit UK Children's Hospital
from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the RE/MAX Creative
Realty office on Palumbo Drive at Man o' War Boulevard.
RE/MAX
Creative Realty hopes to raise more than it did last
-- $115,000. Money from last year's fund-raiser is
being used to construct an interactive, pottery tile,
three-dimensional wall. Sheila and Greg David of Lexington
brought the idea to RE/MAX Creative Realty officials
after their daughter, Makenna, died in 1998. RE/MAX
Creative Realty and the Davids have created The Makenna
Foundation to raise money each year for the UK Children's
Hospital.
The Davids
and RE/MAX Creative Realty realtors hope the patients
at the UK Children's Hospital find hours of enjoyment
from the wall like Makenna, when she played with a
similar wall during her stay at the Texas Children's
Hospital.
