Lexington, Ky. (Dec. 3, 2002) -- Nominations for induction into the 2003 Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame are now being accepted.

Nominations should be sent to the Hall of Fame Selection Committee, School of Journalism and Telecommunications, University of Kentucky, 107 Grehan Building, UK, Lexington, KY 40506-0042. Letters should be marked to the attention of Julie Berry.

The nomination letter should outline in detail why a particular nominee should be inducted into the hall of fame, located at UK. Deadline for receipt of nominations is Jan. 6, 2003.

The selection committee will meet Jan. 24 to select inductees. Those chosen will be contacted shortly afterward.

The 2003 installation will be held in conjunction with the annual Creason Lecture at UK which honors the late Joe Creason, a long-time Courier-Journal reporter and columnist and UK journalism alumnus.
