Dec. 27, 2002 (Lexington, Ky.) -- Terry Malone, Ed.D., professor in the Division of Physical Therapy, University of Kentucky College of Health Sciences, recently was presented the 2002 Hogeschool van Utrecht award by the International Federation of Sports Physiotherapists.

Malone's selection is based on his worldwide contributions to the sports physiotherapy field through an advanced level of clinical knowledge and experience.

Malone is the second recipient of the award, for which he was nominated by the American Sports Physical Therapy Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.
