14, 2002 (Lexington, Ky.) --
The eighth annual Black Women's Conference at the
University of Kentucky, sponsored by the UK African-American
Studies and Research Program, will be held March 20-21.
This year's
conference will open with a Village Potluck Dinner
from 6 to 8 p.m. March 20 at the YWCA Phillis Wheatley
Center, 647 Chestnut St. The dinner is free and open
to the public, and guests should bring a dish to share.
The conference

J. Cooper Address, a luncheon keynote speaker and
panel discussions.
All events
are free, except the luncheon.
