works of art on display are borrowed from several
Lexington collections and illustrate healing practices
from pharaonic Egypt to contemporary South Africa.

"Mind, Body and Soul: African Art That Heals," a University
of Kentucky student art exhibit addressing the themes
of physical, spiritual and communal healing on the
African continent, will be on display from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 27-31, in the
Hall of Fame, located on the third floor of Kentucky
Clinic.
The works
