Lexington,
Ky. (Oct. 28, 2002) -- Mary
Beth Elliott, daughter of John and Cathy Elliott of
Paducah, Ky., and Jonathan Cummins, son of Glenn and
Nancy Cummins of Lexington, Ky., were crowned the
University of Kentucky homecoming queen and king in
halftime ceremonies during the UK-University of Georgia
homecoming game Saturday.
Elliott
is a junior integrated strategic communications major
and was sponsored in the homecoming royalty candidacy
by Chi Omega Sorority. Cummins is a junior finance
major and was sponsored by Sigma
Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
