The
forum took place Sept. 10. About 200 UK faculty, staff,
students and members of the Lexington community gathered
at the Worsham Theatre to hear members of the Patterson
School faculty analyze world events related to 9/11
and the war in Afghanistan.

Sept.
18, 2002 (Lexington, Ky.) -- "The
Continuing Impact of 9/11: A Year Later," a forum
by the University of Kentucky Patterson School of
Diplomacy and International Commerce, will be broadcast
today through Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.
on UK Channel 19.
The forum
took place Sept. 10. About 200 UK faculty, staff,
students and members of the Lexington community gathered
at the Worsham Theatre to hear members of the Patterson
School faculty analyze world events related to 9/11
and the war in Afghanistan. The panelists and their
topics included:

Desch: "9/11 and U.S. Grand Strategy"

Mingst: "9/11 and the Future of Multilaterialism"
-- Eugene
Gholz: "The Economic Repercussions of 9/11"

Pringle: "9/11 and the Future of U.S. Intelligence"
A question-and-answer
session with the audience followed the presentations.
