The University of Kentucky Wellness
Program will celebrate the health of all Kentuckians
and the rich culture of the Bluegrass during its 10th

Holiday for Health & Humor, Kentucky Style.”
Held Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16, the conference

and a 5K race. It is open to UK employees, spouses
and retirees.
At the UK Student Center on May 15, participants may

of coronary heart disease in Kentucky, steps to improve
children’s health and eating habits, clog dancing,
balancing work and family, “Fitness for Dummies,”
feng shui, yoga, hidden calories in beverages, and
a photographic nature tour of Kentucky’s last
great places.
The
second day features a health fair and 5K race, both
held at the UK/Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government
Arboretum. A variety of health and wellness information
booths and opportunities to test blood pressure and
vision will be available. Drawings will be held for
free 10-minute chair massages. The winners will be
posted at the massage table at 8:45 a.m. and 9:45
a.m. The massages will be scheduled between 9 a.m.
and 11 a.m.
