Ott
received a UK doctorate in music theory and composition

of the most frequently performed of any American
of the (post-World War II) era. UK commissioned
his latest composition, Trio Piece, which will
be premiered by the Amadeus Trio.
The
Amadeus Trio received spontaneous applause during
a 1992 Lincoln

in such places as San Francisco's Herbst
Pavilion, Los Angeles' Ambassador
Auditorium, and Carnegie
Hall in New York City.
Besides
the yearly concert tour, the Amadeus Trio is frequently
heard on National
Public Radio's “Performance Today” program.
