Arrest Made in Sex Abuse Cases

Christopher Goldey, 24, was arrested at his home in Versailles last night, and charged with two counts of first degree sex abuse. Goldey has been convicted five times for sex abuse crimes in the last two years.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 11, 2003) -- University of Kentucky Police have made an arrest in two sex abuse cases reported to have occurred near the William T. Young Library on UK’s campus the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Christopher Goldey, 24, was arrested at his home in Versailles last night, and charged with two counts of first degree sex abuse. Goldey has been convicted five times for sex abuse crimes in the last two years.

Both victims are female UK students. The first incident was reported Dec. 9, and the second incident was reported yesterday although it occurred Dec. 9.

Goldey is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.
