Scheduled from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, E-Day offers middle and high school students and their parents a remarkable opportunity to get a taste of the various engineering disciplines.

Feb. 20, 2003 (Lexington, Ky.) -- The University of Kentucky College of Engineering Engineers Day Open House, commonly known as E-Day, is the perfect cure for cabin fever.
Scheduled from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, E-Day offers middle and high school students and their parents a remarkable opportunity to get a taste of the various engineering disciplines. The event will feature laboratory tours; computer demonstrations; displays featuring local businesses, industries and professional organizations; and contests and competitions, including the Artificial Leg Manipulation Contest, the Balloon Powered Car Design Contest, Catapult Basketball, Drop Zone Competition, and the Edible Car Contest. All activities are free and open to the public.
