The University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center
and its Cancer Control Program are sponsoring a free
smoking cessation program for the UK community and
the public.
The Cooper/Clayton Smoking Cessation program is a
12-week, group support program that uses research-based
methods to help people stop smoking. Participants
will learn how to pick a nicotine replacement product
best suited for them and also will learn important
relapse prevention strategies, nutrition, exercise
and metabolism information.
Starting Jan. 7, the free class will be held from
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 1141 Red Mile Road. To register
