July 3, 2003 (Lexington, Ky.) -- The Internet has become so common that people expect every business, both large and small, to have a Web site. Without a Web site, you could be considered behind the times. But what makes a successful small business Web site?

The answer may be found in a seminar sponsored by the University of Kentucky Agricultural Communications Services, UK College of Agriculture, and the Kentucky Retail Federation.

Seminar participants will explore the elements of a successful Web site and whether e-commerce would suit their needs. The seminar will not cater to Web site developers, but rather will focus on assessments of Web site needs for the small-business owner.
