May 23, 2003 (Lexington, Ky.) – The bylines of two faculty members at the University of Kentucky Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce appear in recent editions of nationally prominent publications.

In addition to carrying significant research loads, Professor Michael Desch, director-designate at the Patterson School, and Assistant Professor Eugene Gholz contributed major public policy pieces to The American Conservative, which offers a variant on what is considered traditional American conservatism, and Regulation, considered the preeminent journal dealing with regulatory policy issues, ranging from environmental law, banking, and trade to antitrust, labor, and telecommunications.

Desch claimed the cover story of the May 5 edition of the bi-weekly publication.

Gholz's article (PDF file) was included in the Spring 2003 edition of the quarterly journal.
