High School Foreign Language Conference
Is Saturday

About 1,500 Kentucky high school students and their parents will participate in foreign language competitions at various locations around the campus, according to Jeff Rogers, assistant professor of German in the UK College of Arts and Sciences Department of Modern and Classical Languages, Literatures and Cultures.

 

May 16, 2003 (Lexington, Ky.) -- The 2003 High School Foreign Language Festival will be held at the University of Kentucky Saturday, May 17.

About 1,500 Kentucky high school students and their parents will participate in foreign language competitions at various locations around the campus, according to Jeff Rogers, assistant professor of German in the UK College of Arts and Sciences Department of Modern and Classical Languages, Literatures and Cultures.

UK has served as host of the conference since its inception in 1990.
