LEXINGTON,
Ky. (April 1, 2004) -- University
of Kentucky Police have issued a “Campus
Safety Alert” following a report of
sexual abuse on campus this afternoon. The incident
reportedly occurred at about 2:15 p.m. in a stairwell
of Parking Structure 5, located on South Limestone,
across from Administration Drive. A female student
was touched on the buttocks by an unknown suspect.
The
suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s,
5 feet 11 inches tall, with a muscular build. He
was last seen wearing white slacks, a turquoise
shirt, and white shoes. The suspect has short,
cropped hair. UK Police have released several security
camera photos of the suspect.
UK
Police also consider the man to be a prime suspect
in a rash of reported indecent exposure incidents
which have occurred on campus in recent weeks.
