LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 6, 2004) -- University of Kentucky Police have identified a suspect in the April 1 sexual abuse report on campus. Fayette County District Court has issued an arrest warrant for Joshua Jemele Scott of Lexington on one count of third degree sexual abuse.

Scott is identified as a black male, 25 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

UK Police also want Scott for questioning in several incidents of indecent exposure on campus and in regard to two other sexual abuse incidents that were reported to have occurred on UK’s campus on April 1 as well.

“Two additional victims came forward after hearing of the Safety Alert issued on campus last week and seeing the surveillance photos of Mr. Scott,” said Travis Manley, public information officer for UK Police.
