LEXINGTON,
Ky. (April 7, 2004) -- University
of Kentucky Police today arrested Joshua
Jemele Scott on a charge of sexual abuse in the
third degree, stemming from a Fayette District
Court arrest warrant issued yesterday.
Scott,
25, of Lexington, is accused of a sexual abuse
incident reported in UK’s Parking Structure
#5 on April 1. Scott is not a student or employee
of the University of Kentucky.
“Mr.
Scott also was questioned in regard to other reported
cases of sexual abuse and indecent exposure on
campus,” said Travis Manley, public information
officer for UK Police. “No charges have been
filed in those cases, but they continue to be investigated.”
