 The
University of Kentucky Dance Ensemble is hosting
a concert on Saturday, April 17, that will include
modern, jazz and tap dances. The dances have been
created by the students of the Dance Ensemble and
guest choreographers.

LEXINGTON,
Ky. (April 15, 2004) -- The
University of Kentucky Dance Ensemble is hosting
a concert on Saturday, April 17, that will include
modern, jazz and tap dances. The dances have
been created by the students of the Dance Ensemble
and guest choreographers.
The
UK Dance Ensemble is under the direction of Rayma
Beal, associate professor in the Department of
Kinesiology and Health Promotions in the College
of Education. “The concert is a culmination
of the spring’s creative efforts by the members
of the Dance Ensemble,” said Beal.
The
students, their majors, and their hometowns are:
• Jaclyn
Bender, a junior art education and art studio
student from Williamsport, Pa.;
• Leah Bentley, a pharmacy student from Louisville;
• Anjuli Bhattacharyya, a sophomore marketing student from Lexington;
• B.J. Lee, a freshman arts administration student from Shelbyville;
• Casey Brown, a sophomore materials engineering student from Beavercreek,
Ohio;
• Mary Brown, a senior psychology student from Louisville;
• Lydia Childress, a senior elementary education student from Winchester;
• Katie Daniels, a freshman nursing student from Owensboro;
• Ashley Dawson, a sophomore business management student from Lexington;
• Sara Endicott, an undeclared sophomore from Covington;
• Angie Galloway, a senior elementary education student from Owensboro;
• Tessa Harris, a senior kinesiology student from Ashland;
• Emily Hicks, a junior physical therapy student from Louisville;
