LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 9, 2004) -- University of Kentucky President Lee T. Todd Jr. will explore important issues facing UK and the Central Kentucky community on a new four-minute program on WUKY (FM91.3). The show, “UK Perspectives,” airs each Friday at 7:35 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on WUKY, UK’s public radio station.

Tom Godell, WUKY general manager, hosts the series. Topics to be covered include: UK athletics, the Kentucky Homeland Security Consortium, the impact of UK research on the state’s economy, the future of the UK Chandler Medical Center, the Appalachian Science and Math initiative, and much more.
