LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 6, 2004) --The steering committee for the University of Kentucky Self-study for NCAA Division I Certification will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 8, in 104 Gillis Building. The committee and subcommittees are continuing their work as part of a yearlong process to evaluate UK ’s athletics program. The self-study is a requirement of NCAA membership and is designed to ensure that an institution meets or exceeds the standards of established criteria set by the NCAA for certification.
