The AHA contributes over $1.4 million annually in research funding to UK.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 3, 2004) -- University of Kentucky employees and students are joining forces to raise money during the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk, with a goal of raising $10,000. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, at Applebee’s Park, 207 Legends Lane. The AHA contributes over $1.4 million annually in research funding to UK. Individuals may sign up for the walk by following a link on the UK Gill Heart Institute Web site. Participants may form their own teams or join an existing team.
