LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 26, 2004) -- For the first time since 1987, the periodical cicada is about to make its appearance in Kentucky and several neighboring states. University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension entomologist Doug Johnson says this particular insect will start to emerge somewhere between late April and early June. (more)
