LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 29, 2004) -- One of the highlights of the 29th annual Central Kentucky Home and Garden Show are the exciting auctions, both live and silent, that help benefit the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital on April 2 and 3 at Rupp Arena/Heritage Hall. All proceeds will benefit the UK Children’s Hospital to help support pediatric research, program enhancements, and medical equipment at UK Children’s Hospital.

Kid’s Activity Area: Friday, April 2, 6-8 p.m. – Bring the kids along for an evening of activities including woodworking, painting and gardening projects provided by Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse and Southerland’s Greenhouses.

Home and Garden Day: Saturday, April 3, noon. – Great items for your home and garden will be available for purchase benefiting the UK Children’s Hospital. Items to be auctioned include furniture, framed art, accessories, ceramic tile, items for summer entertaining, and more.

Family Night: Saturday, April 3, 3 p.m. – Find bargains galore for your family or yourself! Items to be auctioned include entertainment packages, overnight getaways, dining packages, and toys. All proceeds benefit the UK Children’s Hospital.

Sports Night: Sunday, April 4, 3 p.m. – Support a worthy cause. Athletic goods will be auctioned off to help support the UK Children’s Hospital. Items to be auctioned include UK athletic tickets, autographed collectibles, golf packages, and more.
