LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 4, 2004) -- The Kentucky Statewide Trauma Symposium will be held Nov. 16 through 19 at the Holiday Inn North in Lexington. Health care professionals who care for emergency and critical care patients will learn innovative approaches to trauma and emergency care.

Sponsored by UK HealthCare, Kosair Children’s Hospital and UofL Health Care, the symposium will cover clinical management of the trauma patient, including pre-hospital care, resuscitation, acute care, and rehabilitation. The forum will feature national and local physicians, nurses, paramedics and other experts.
