LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 18, 2004) -- The battle for blood between the University of Kentucky/Central Kentucky Blood Center and the University of Tennessee/Medic Regional Blood Center in Knoxville is getting tighter as the annual event moves into its closing stages.
