Makenna Foundation Walk to Benefit UK Children’s Hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 11, 2004) -- The Makenna Foundation will hold the Walk for the Angels to benefit University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 23, at UK Nutter Field House. A Jazzercise warm-up begins at 8:30 a.m. The walk is from 9 a.m. to noon. Refreshments will be served. A raffle for prizes, including gift certificates for local restaurants, movie rentals and golf games, will be held every 15 minutes. Walk registration is $10, which includes one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be given for each additional donation of $50. Those who form walk teams of 10 or more will receive an additional raffle ticket.
