LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 22, 2004) --The steering committee for the University of Kentucky Self-study for NCAA Division I Certification will hold a work session from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, in 240 Memorial Coliseum (Conference room on the upper level in the basketball offices area).The committee and subcommittees are continuing their work as part of a yearlong process to evaluate UK’s athletics program. The self-study is a requirement of NCAA membership and is designed to ensure that an institution meets or exceeds the standards of established criteria set by the NCAA for certification.
