LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 1, 2004) --The steering committee for the University of Kentucky Self-study for NCAA Division I Certification will hold a work session from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, in 228 UK Student Center. The committee and subcommittees are continuing their work as part of a yearlong process to evaluate UK’s athletics program. The self-study is a requirement of NCAA membership and is designed to ensure that an institution meets or exceeds the standards of established criteria set by the NCAA for certification.
