- Always be aware of your surroundings and what other people around you are doing.
- Park only in well-lit areas.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 2, 2004) -- The University of Kentucky Police are investigating an assault reported to have occurred earlier this week on UK property. A female UK student reported last night (Sept. 1) that she was physically assaulted between 10:45 and 11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, near 515 Oldham Ave.
UK Police Chief Fred Otto said the incident was not reported as a sexual assault.
The unknown suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, 6 feet tall, with a large build. He had a shaved head and was wearing dark clothing.
