NCAA Self-study Steering Committee Meets

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 8, 2004) --The steering committee for the University of Kentucky Self-study for NCAA Division I Certification will hold a work session from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 104 Gillis Building. The committee and subcommittees are continuing their work as part of a yearlong process to evaluate UK’s athletics program. The self-study is a requirement of NCAA membership and is designed to ensure that an institution meets or exceeds the standards of established criteria set by the NCAA for certification.
