LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2004) -- Need tips about pregnancy, birth and parenting? Want to see the latest products for expectant mothers and babies?

Come to the fifth annual “Baby Basics Maternity Fair” sponsored by University of Kentucky HealthCare and Baby’s Room & Kids Too.

The fair – which is free and open to the public – will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 1801 Newtown Pike in Lexington.

Health professionals from UK and other local organizations will be available to answer questions.

“This fair is a great way for expectant parents, new parents, and couples planning pregnancy to meet the doctors, nurses and midwife at UK and to ask questions and learn more about pregnancy, childbirth and babyhood,” said Dr. Wendy Hansen, associate professor and director, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, UK College of Medicine.
