LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 2, 2005) -- University of Kentucky President Lee T. Todd Jr. and Men’s Basketball Coach Orlando “Tubby” Smith will speak at this year’s “Forum at Noon,” an annual event sponsored by the Lexington Forum, a group of local business leaders. “Forum at Noon” will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, in the Blue Grass Ballroom of the Lexington Convention Center. Todd and Smith will discuss their leadership styles and the impact that Jim Collins’ best-selling book “Good to Great” has had on their success.
“We are delighted that President Todd and Coach Smith are headlining our event this year,” said Catherine Nunn Edelen, president of the Lexington Forum. “These gentlemen have been so successful in their chosen careers and both are so well respected in our community and throughout the Commonwealth. It isn't often that the public gets a chance to hear where their inspiration comes from.”
