LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 3, 2005) -- The Society of Critical Care Medicine has inducted Jimmi Hatton, Pharm.D., associate professor in the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, as a Fellow in the American College of Critical Care Medicine (ACCM). The ACCM is part of the Society of Critical Care Medicine with the mission of fostering the highest goals of multiprofessional critical care medicine.
Hatton, who holds a joint appointment as associate professor of surgery in the Division of Neurosurgery in the UK College of Medicine, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UK in 1984 and completed a clinical pharmacy residency in 1986.
ACCM confers Fellowship status to members of SCCM who have demonstrated dedication to the collaborative practice model of critical care; active participation in the development of programs or systems related to the critical care; educational contributions to health care professionals; contributed to scientific literature in the area of critical care; and participated actively in leadership positions of professional organizations devoted to collaborative critical care practice.
