LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 16, 2005) -- The School of Journalism and Telecommunications at the University of Kentucky is offering an Advanced High School Journalism Workshop. The workshop will be held June 5-11.
The workshop is intended for high school students or recent graduates with some prior journalism experience, either through their school newspaper, their yearbook, or other writing, design or photography work. Students will produce a newspaper focused on various aspects of the horse industry in Kentucky.
The Advanced High School Journalism Workshop is sponsored in part by the Lexington Herald-Leader, the Scripps Howard Foundation, and the UK Office of the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education.
