LEXINGTON, KY (May, 1999) -- Karen Woomer and
Derrell Posey of Merck & Co.,
Inc., present a $50,000 check to Hartmut Malluche, M.D., chief of
nephrology, bone and mineral metabolism, University of Kentucky College
of Medicine; Jay W. Mason, M.D., chair,
Department of Internal Medicine, UK College of Medicine; and Emery
Wilson, M.D., dean, UK College of Medicine. The gift will fund bone
research at the UK Chandler Medical Center. |
