LEXINGTON, KY
(Aug. 24, 2000) - The William Stamps Farish Fund Foundation
of Houston, Texas, has given $150,000 to the University of
Kentucky College
of Medicine Division of Urology to buy equipment.
William Stamps Farish is the owner of Lane’s End Farm in
Versailles, Ky., and is a supporter and generous contributor to
many UK programs. He is a member of the UK Committee for Urologic
Progress, which supports the clinical, research and education
mission of the Division of Urology. It is the second gift the Division of Urology has received from
the Farish Foundation this year. In May, the Foundation pledged $1
million to the Division of Urology for a professorship and chair.
