LEXINGTON, KY (Aug. 24, 2000) - The William Stamps Farish Fund Foundation of Houston, Texas, has given $150,000 to the University of Kentucky College of Medicine Division of Urology to buy equipment.

William Stamps Farish is the owner of Lane’s End Farm in Versailles, Ky., and is a supporter and generous contributor to many UK programs. He is a member of the UK Committee for Urologic Progress, which supports the clinical, research and education mission of the Division of Urology.

It is the second gift the Division of Urology has received from the Farish Foundation this year. In May, the Foundation pledged $1 million to the Division of Urology for a professorship and chair.
