New UK dental clinic works to
improve oral health in Eastern Kentucky
The University of Kentucky Family
Practice Clinic recently added the Family Dental Clinic to
its new Bailey-Stumbo Building in Hazard, Ky. The dental clinic
and family practice clinic offer a sliding fee scale for patients
based on their income, so all patients are treated regardless
of their ability to pay. (more)
Hardymon named an Outstanding Director
of 2004
James F. Hardymon, chairman of the
University of Kentucky Board of Trustees and former chairman
and CEO of Textron Inc., has been named one of eight Outstanding
Directors for 2004 by the Institute of Outstanding Directors. (more)
UK taking part in homeland security
research partnerships
The University of Kentucky and several
other Kentucky universities and technical colleges will perform
research into homeland security issues, supported by $4 million
